Five Designer Handbags Recovered by Santa Cruz de Tenerife Police
The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have recovered five designer handbags valued at €9,750, which were reportedly stolen the previous day from a luxury goods store in the capital. The discovery occurred last Wednesday following a tip-off from a security guard working for a private company, who notified the officers about a bag hidden in a landscaped area of the city.
Contents of the Bag
Inside the bag were the five handbags, several tampered anti-theft devices, and a sports cap. All items were taken to the Lost Property department of the Local Police for further examination. During the inspection, officers confirmed that the handbags were brand new, unworn, and still had the price tags attached from the store.
Robbery Confirmed
After contacting the store’s management and the National Police, it was confirmed that a burglary had occurred overnight at the luxury goods shop. The store representatives recognised the recovered handbags and provided an inventory listing the items that had been stolen. This documentation has been added to the ongoing investigation and the subsequent report of theft by burglary.
