Traffic Accident in Granadilla Leaves Two Women Injured

Two Women Injured in Major Three-Vehicle Collision in Tenerife

Two women were injured on Friday in a traffic accident on Avenida Fundador Gonzalo González, in the Tenerife municipality of Granadilla de Abona, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government.

### Incident Details
The incident occurred at 14:40 when 112 received multiple calls alerting them to a collision involving three vehicles, one of which was overturned on its side. A coordination technician from the Tenerife Fire Consortium, present in the operations room, received one call via the eCall system from the overturned vehicle.

### Involvement of Emergency Services
During the call, the technician discovered that one of the occupants was trapped inside the cabin and provided instructions until emergency resources arrived. Upon reaching the scene, the firefighters secured the involved vehicles and freed the affected individual.

### Medical Assistance
Staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assessed and assisted both injured women. One of them exhibited a moderate head injury, barring complications, and was transported by a basic life support ambulance to Hospiten Sur University Hospital.

The second affected individual sustained various moderate injuries, again with no complications reported, and was also evacuated to the same hospital in a SUC medicalised ambulance.

### Emergency Response Team
The response involved personnel from the Tenerife Fire Consortium, the Canarian Emergency Service, with both a medicalised ambulance and a basic life support unit, as well as the Local Police, who managed traffic on the road and prepared the relevant report.
