Two women, including a 16-year-old girl, sustained moderate injuries after being struck by vehicles in separate incidents in Tenerife on Wednesday, according to the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112.
The first incident occurred at 11:23 AM on Juan Pedro García Street in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, where the girl was hit by a car and suffered multiple moderate injuries. She received initial treatment from a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), which then transported her to Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
At the same time, another accident was reported on Luis de la Cruz Street in Puerto de la Cruz. A 76-year-old woman was injured, suffering a moderate trauma to her lower limb. She was also attended to by the SUC and taken to Hospiten Bellevue for further care.
Both incidents involved the local police, who completed the necessary reports and investigations.
