A 63-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in the municipality of Arona, Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands Government.
At 19:18, the Emergency Coordination Centre received an alert regarding a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the TF-28 road, near El Mojón. The motorcyclist was reported to require medical assistance.
A coordinating doctor from the Canary Island Emergency Service, who was present in the operations room, confirmed through questioning that the victim was in cardiac arrest. Instructions were given via tele-assistance for resuscitation efforts to commence.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel continued advanced resuscitation efforts but were unable to revive the individual, confirming their death.
The Guardia Civil is managing the relevant report, while the Local Police and Firefighters assisted other emergency resources at the scene.
Meanwhile, staff from the Tenerife Cabildo’s Road Maintenance Service conducted cleaning operations on the roadway.
