SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Wednesday following a collision with a car on the TF-1 heading south, near the access to Punta Larga in Candelaria, Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 08:01, when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert regarding the accident. Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to respond to the area.
Once on the scene, medical personnel from the Canary Emergency Service assessed and attended to the injured individual. After stabilisation, the motorcyclist was transported in critical condition to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital with severe polytrauma.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic on the road and prepared the necessary report.
