Tenerife Faces Warm Sunday with Clear Skies and Light Dust
Tenerife is set for a warm Sunday, with mostly clear skies and light dust expected to rise in the afternoon, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
The northern low-lying areas may see some cloud cover, particularly early and late in the day. The southern coast might also experience brief clouds overnight, but the rest of the island will stay mostly sunny.
Temperatures will rise slightly to moderately, especially in mid-altitude and high areas, with the eastern, southern, and western midlands likely surpassing 30 degrees. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, temperatures are forecasted to range from a minimum of 21 degrees to a maximum of 30 degrees.
Winds will come from the north at moderate strength, with stronger gusts expected in the northeastern and southwestern corners of the island by night. Central peaks will experience moderate winds from the southwest.
Across the Canary Islands, skies will be generally clear, with some cloud intervals on coastal and northern lowlands during the early and late hours. Light dust will affect the eastern islands, along with Tenerife and La Gomera, particularly in high altitudes. Temperatures are likely to rise, especially in midlands, high grounds, and interior areas.
