A 73-year-old woman has been rescued after falling into the sea while riding an adapted electric scooter in Puerto Colón, Adeje, Tenerife. The incident occurred at around 2:20 PM on Sunday, prompting an alert to the emergency services.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene. A crew from a nearby boat pulled the woman from the water. Upon arrival, healthcare personnel from the SUC found she was showing serious signs of drowning. After stabilising her condition, she was taken to Hospiten Sur for further treatment.
Local police are handling the investigation into the incident.
