Friday the twelfth of June will be etched in memory,
a date impossible to erase;
La Laguna opened its ancient streets
so that history may walk again.
Under the towers, the stone and the memory,
amidst bells, hope and emotion,
the name of the city will be spoken
with respect, faith and admiration.
Future generations will remember
that on that day the world looked here,
and that La Laguna, noble and centuries-old,
wrote a page that will not fade away.
For there are days that pass with time,
and others that become eternal;
and Friday the twelfth of June two thousand and twenty-six
will live forever in the history of La Laguna.
