Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision on TF-1
A motorcyclist has sustained critical injuries this Wednesday following a collision with a car on the TF-1, near Candelaria.
Details of the Incident
The accident occurred on the southbound lane of the motorway, during a particularly challenging day for traffic. Significant delays were already reported from early morning due to the overturning of a lorry in the Güímar area.
As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and required immediate medical attention from emergency services dispatched to the scene. According to information gathered by this newspaper, the motorcyclist was transported by an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to a hospital in critical condition.

This latest incident adds to the challenges faced on the TF-1, following the overturning of a lorry around 07:00 in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, near El Tablado. This accident caused long queues and difficulties for thousands of drivers.
The occurrence of both incidents has further exacerbated the traffic situation on one of Tenerife’s main roadways, particularly during the morning rush hour.
