During the previous weekend, the inaugural edition of the ‘Renew Home Exhibition’ saw more than 10,000 visitors at the Tenerife Fairgrounds, featuring the participation of 80 companies and 170 booths.
In a statement, Manuel Fernández, the Vice President of the Fairgrounds and Minister of Industry, announced plans to “extend” this initiative due to its “excellent reception” among both the construction sector and the general public.
“Positive feedback from professionals has encouraged us to continue and integrate this event into the Fairgrounds’ annual calendar,” he stated.
‘Renew Home 2024’ was a joint endeavour of the Cabildo and Fepeco, providing attendees a comprehensive showcase of products and services including enclosures, awnings, painting, swimming pools, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, gardening, automatic doors, aluminium and glassware, furniture and interior design, home automation, solar panels, water purification systems, prefabricated homes, alarm systems, real estate, as well as surveyors, architects, and other consultants offering advice and assistance with project funding.
Highlighting the focus of the island Government on revitalising all economic sectors of Tenerife, Manuel Fernández stressed that construction has historically been a cornerstone of the island’s economy.
The event aims to address the increasing demand seen in recent years within the sector, catering to clients seeking the ease of accessing information, comparing offerings, and engaging the various suppliers essential for their projects.
