SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3rd May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Late Thursday night, the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife came across the body of a 90-year-old woman inside her home in the El Tablero area, where she resided with her 65-year-old son, as confirmed by the authorities.
Following a tip from a neighbour, the Local Police arrived at the scene and discovered the elderly woman’s body, believed to have “been deceased for over five months and found in her bed.”
According to sources from the National Police, whose Homicide Group is leading the investigation, the woman’s body was “preserved and showed no apparent signs of violence.”
The woman’s son was taken into custody by the Local Police, with the National Police investigation aiming to shed light on the circumstances.
