SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3rd May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Three individuals have sustained injuries of varying severity following a collision involving four vehicles on the TF-1, travelling southwards past Tenerife South airport in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, as reported by the Coordinating Center of Emergencies and Security of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place at approximately 8:31 a.m. when Canary Islands 112 was notified that a traffic accident had occurred at the location, involving four vehicles, with two of them overturning.
Firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium promptly arrived at the scene to secure the vehicles and extract two individuals who were trapped inside.
Additionally, the personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided assistance to a 39-year-old man who initially complained of moderate chest pain.
They also attended to two females, aged 39 and 26, who reported mild neck pain at the time of initial assessment. All three injured individuals were subsequently transported to the Hospital del Sur.
Officials from the Insular Highway Center also responded to the incident site to clear the road, while officers from the Civil Guard conducted necessary investigations and managed traffic in the vicinity.
