The Puerto de la Cruz Council has announced plans to invest €586,000 in a new asphalt and improvement programme for eight key roads in the town. The selected streets include Malteveo, Avenida Venezuela, Lía Tavío, Camino Carril, Rafael Folch, Las Tapias, and Platanera. The work is expected to be completed within two months of the contract being awarded.
The initiative aims to enhance road surfaces, accessibility, and traffic safety, benefiting residents, local businesses, and visitors. Since 2019, the council has successfully asphalted over fifty streets in the municipality.
