Rosa Dávila Urges Caution Amid Rising Temperatures in Tenerife
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 29 June (Europa Press) – Rosa Dávila, President of the Cabildo de Tenerife, has called for “responsibility and caution” as the island braces for soaring temperatures this week, particularly on Tuesday when some areas might reach 35°C, especially in the south, east, and west.
In a statement from the Cabildo, she warned of strong winds along the coast and in the interior, which heightens the risk of wildfires.
Dávila advised residents to avoid sun exposure during peak hours, stay well-hydrated, and exercise extreme caution in natural areas and mountainous regions.
The Cabildo is actively monitoring the situation and coordinating emergency services to ensure the safety of all residents across the island.
