Metrotenerife is set to implement its summer timetable for tram services starting from Monday, June 29. The changes are aimed at better catering to passenger demand during the warmer months.

From June 29, Line 1 will operate every six minutes during peak times on weekdays, while Line 2 will run every 12 minutes. This summer schedule will only be in effect from Monday to Friday, with trams following their regular weekend and holiday timetable, including all-night service.

The summer timetable will roll out in stages. From June 29 to July 5, Line 1 will run every six minutes from 7am to 3pm, then at intervals of seven to 15 minutes until service ends at midnight. Line 2 will follow a similar pattern, with 12-minute intervals during peak hours and 15-minute intervals thereafter.

From July 6 to August 30, the service will adjust again, with Line 1 operating every seven minutes and Line 2 every 14 minutes on weekdays.

The tram service will gradually revert to its winter timetable starting in the first week of September.

Passengers can check the summer schedule on the Metrotenerife website or through the company’s social media channels.
