The event will take place on 26th, 27th, and 28th June at the former Convent of Santo Domingo
The former Convent of Santo Domingo in La Laguna will host the first edition of the 2026 Canarias Surf Film Festival (CSFF). This event returns to the Aguere municipality on 26th, 27th, and 28th June, featuring a diverse cultural offering centred around surfing.
Festival Overview
Having established itself over 14 years, the CSFF has become a travelling surf film festival, showcasing various islands in the Canary archipelago. The festival celebrates and fosters culture surrounding the passion that Canarians have for life alongside the ocean. Since its inception, it has served as a bridge to connect filmmakers, athletes, friends, and families around narratives captured by some of the best audiovisual creators in this genre.
Community Gathering
Over three days, the Convent of Santo Domingo will transform into a gathering place for the surfing community and everyone passionate about sea-related culture. The programme will combine film screenings, exhibitions, sporting activities, workshops, informative talks, concerts, and live music sessions. In collaboration with the La Laguna City Council, the CSFF is supported by IDCD from the Government of the Canary Islands, Promotur, and Canarias Islas Film, as well as Canaauto and Cerveza Águila.
