The Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® to Open Registrations for the 2027 Edition on 8th June

The upcoming edition of the race will feature several new elements, including a new 68-kilometre distance; the extension of the 73k, which will now become 82k; and a new route for the Vertical Night Challenge, comprising 6.5 kilometres starting from Socorro Beach.

Entry Registration Opens

The Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB®, the mountain race organised by the Cabildo of Tenerife through its public company Ideco, will open registrations for its 2027 edition on 8 June via its official website. The event, set to take place from 8 to 10 April 2027 across 15 municipalities, will once again form part of the UTMB® World Series international circuit.

Phased Registration Process

The registration process will occur in several phases. Initially, priority will be given to runners who were already registered for the 2026 edition, which was cancelled due to weather conditions. This period will remain open from 8 June at 10:00 until 12 June at 23:00.

Following this, registrations will open on 17 June at 10:00 for athletes holding a valid UTMB® Index, and from 19 June at 10:00, other participants will be able to register.

Record Prize Fund

The Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB® continues to establish itself as one of the premier mountain races on the international stage, and in 2027, it will take a significant leap by offering the largest prize fund in its history, totalling €58,700.

Additional Details

Registration will remain open until 10 March 2027 or until all available places are filled. As in previous editions, the fastest to register will benefit from substantial discounts, with an additional 30% reduction for athletes residing in the Canary Islands.
