This 2022 is the seventh year that the Instituto Coordenadas publishes its IEH, which once again confirms the leadership of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation as the best hospital in Spain in 2022.
“The Jiménez Díaz Foundation has managed to maintain the first position in our annual ranking due to the excellent results obtained in key parameters such as the time patients wait to receive care, its high recommendation rates among citizens or the maintenance of the positive balance in the data on entries and exits by free choice, factors that support its leadership during these seven years”, explained the executive vice-president of the Coordinates Institute, Jesús Sánchez Lambás.

The ninth and tenth positions are occupied by the Hospital Universitari i Politécnic La Fe -the only hospital in the Valencian Community present in the top 10- and the Hospital Quirónsalud Madrid, respectively.
“Despite the fact that public health is going through a complex and somewhat difficult period that confirms the conflict at a structural level that affects Spain as a whole, plagued by the financial crises that have been chained since the pandemic, Spanish hospitals continue to demonstrate a high resistance capacity and a notable level of robustness”, pointed out Sánchez Lambás.
For the Executive Vice President of the Institution, the top10 of the IEH 2022 shows “the effort made by these centers to maintain the high standards of hospital qualification, well above the European average”. “But, also, to improve their excellence thanks to their commitment, perseverance and resources that they allocate to promote innovation, research and teaching, which has a positive impact on the welfare state and on the quality of the services they offer to the patients,” he stated.
