SAN SEBASTIAN DE LA GOMERA, Aug. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard of the Hermigua Post (La Gomera) have arrested a 56-year-old woman of German nationality, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, in the form of drug cultivation, by having a plantation of marijuana on a municipal farm.
The arrest occurred after the Civil Guard agents became aware of the existence of a marijuana plantation on a farm in Hermigua, for which they requested the corresponding authorization to enter and register it in the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 1 of San Sebastián de La Gomera, as reported by the Benemérita in a press release.
Thus, once they entered, they found a total of 2,524 kilograms of marijuana in two rooms, being prepared in small doses for possible sale, as well as 10,617 kilograms of the same narcotic substance but located in several dryers arranged at different points and in a greenhouse that was on the same farm where they found 58 marijuana plants in different stages of growth, 18 of which were large.
The agents also found two thermal cabinets for drying marijuana and intervened several halogen bulbs, as well as heat sources, used to favor the drying of the drug.
The detainee, together with the proceedings carried out, has gone to court, with the same two other people involved in the criminal act and who have been fully identified by the agents but who are currently unaccounted for, which is why the judicial authority has issued an arrest warrant for both.
