The Museum of Nature and Archeology (MUNA) presents a children’s workshop, two conferences and a scientific café. The Chipeque children’s workshop, the Guanche boy and his goat, will be held in the mornings from today to May 20, where a scene from the story is freely represented.
MUNA hosts today the conference From Hospital to Museum, with the director of the center, Fátima Hernández Martín, and the director of the Archaeological Museum and the ICB, Conrado Rodríguez Martín, who will discuss the history of the building. The Museum of Science and the Cosmos offers the conference Supermassive Black Holes tomorrow, May 17, at 6:00 p.m. To this will be added the talk The challenge of the Gran Telescopio Canarias, which will take place on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The center will host the Canary Islands Scientific Communication Meeting (CoCiCan) on May 20 at 3:00 p.m. He will also dedicate a family workshop on May 20 and 21 with the title of El Ovonauta and will carry out solar observations on the terrace with the schools that attend.
The Museum of History and Anthropology, in the Casa Lercaro, presents a temporary and ephemeral exhibition, Emotions adrift, which can be visited from May 18. It collects the visions and experiences that the migrants themselves have of the migratory flows. It aims to offer a different approach and participated from various facets of migration.
