The Salvamar Alpheratz from Maritime Rescue disembarked sixty individuals on Monday in the south of Tenerife who were travelling in a small boat spotted by the SIVE.

The group consists of individuals of sub-Saharan origin, all adult males, except for one woman, who landed at the port of Los Cristianos at 07:00 hours, as reported to EFE by a spokesperson for Maritime Rescue.

The canoe they were travelling in was detected at 04:55 hours when it was 5.5 kilometers from Las Galletas.
