SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the delegated area of Foreign Action, has approved a specific contribution to the Fifede Foundation for the development of a French language training program, within the Africa Becas project, in its 2021 edition, for a value of 109,225 , 58 euros.
The objectives of this assignment will be to promote public-private cooperation through non-labor internships in French-speaking countries, improve the employability of unemployed Tenerife graduates through the acquisition of the French language, increase professional capacities and skills at the international level of the unemployed graduates of Tenerife.
It is also intended to make known to businessmen and women the availability on the island of duly qualified human capital in the French language that can be incorporated into the internalization processes of their businesses, said the CEO Liskel Álvarez.
Among the recipient countries of Africa Scholarships, Cape Verde has Portuguese as its official language, which has facilitated the integration of people participating in the Africa Scholarships project, given its similarity to Spanish, while in the other two (Morocco and Senegal), its official language is French, which has led to a considerably lower number of applicants opting for these destinations, given its scarce roots as a linguistic option in our country, and with this initiative it is intended to increase the number of Proposals for fellows and fellows in francophone countries.
For twelve months, 60 people will be able to benefit from this training in the French language at levels A2 and B1 through a training itinerary, without this necessarily implying a privileged situation in the event of opting for future editions of Africa Scholarships, where they must meet the linguistic requirements required of the rest of the applicants.
