A 73-year-old woman has been hospitalised with serious signs of drowning after accidentally falling into the sea while using a modified electric scooter in Puerto Colón, Adeje, Tenerife, on Sunday.
Emergency services received a call at 2:20 PM reporting the incident. The woman was rescued by crew members from a nearby boat and attended to by personnel from the Canary Emergency Service. After stabilising her condition, she was taken to a hospital in southern Tenerife. Local police are handling the necessary investigations.
