The series ‘Anatomía de un instante’ emerged as the major winner at the inaugural Anillos de Oro Awards, held on Saturday night in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It secured 13 accolades, including Best Dramatic Fiction Series and Best Leading Actor, awarded to Álvaro Morte.
The production was also recognised in various technical and creative categories such as Best Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Post-Production, Digital Resources, Art Direction, Production Management, Casting, Makeup and Hair, Cinematography, Sound, and Executive Production, in addition to Best Supporting Actor for Eduard Fernández.
The Círculo de Profesionales de las Series Españolas, the awards’ organising body, noted that the event brought together prominent professionals from the Spanish audiovisual sector. It was hosted by Santi Millán and Elena S. Sánchez, along with Canary Island comedian Abián Díaz.
Musical performances featured Belén Aguilera, Kiki, Soleá Morente, La Bien Querida, Ale Acosta, Las Revoltosas, and the Tenerife Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Diego Navarro.
Ultimately, the I Anillos de Oro Awards presented honours across 23 competitive categories, culminating in an Honorary Award presented to actor Antonio Resines, recognising his professional career.
CARMEN MACHI WINS BEST LEADING ACTRESS FOR ‘CELESTE’
Carmen Machi was awarded Best Leading Actress for her role in ‘Celeste’, while Carla Quílez received the award for Best Emerging Actress for ‘Yakarta’.
In the music category, C. Tangana was honoured for the soundtrack of ‘Esta ambición desmedida’, a production that also won the award for Best Non-Fiction Series.
Additionally, ‘Poquita Fe’ was named Best Comedy Fiction Series; ‘Los mil días de Allende’ secured the title of Best Latin American Series; and ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon T.3’ won Best International Series.
