Located alongside the coast of Valle de Guerra, this establishment has become essential for those wanting to enjoy fresh fish on the island.

Fresh Fish: A Key Attraction
The star of their menu is the fresh fish of the day, with offerings changing based on the market. Among the most popular dishes is the fried moray eel, one of the bar’s best sellers.
During their visit, the content creators also enjoyed shrimp, sardines, threadfin bream, and roasted meat as an option for those preferring meat over fish. Additionally, the bar invited them to try goat meat, a traditional Canarian dish.
“Everything is fresh, just caught this morning,” they highlighted in their video, showcasing various fresh products available at the establishment.
The Perfect Summer Spot
Aside from its culinary offerings, the surrounding area is a major draw for summer enjoyment. Situated by the sea, it allows for a delightful day at the beach, culminating in a meal with family or friends. “It has become an essential visit for us every summer,” they confirmed.
The venue features a spacious parking area, making visits more convenient; however, it does not accept card payments or mobile transfers.
Opening Hours and Location
El Chiringuito de La Barranquera is located on Calle El Atolón, La Barranquera, in the town of Valle de Guerra, part of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. The establishment operates on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations.
They confirm that they open every day for lunch and dinner, except on Mondays when service begins at 5:00 PM. Moreover, they only open during the summer months and close at the end of the season.
