SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 7 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 73-year-old man has sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision with a car on the TF-21 in Vilaflor, Tenerife, at approximately kilometre 71, according to the Coordinating Centre for Emergency and Security (CECOS) of 112 Canarias.
The incident occurred on Saturday, prompting a response from personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC). Upon arrival, they found the individual with multiple severe injuries and provided initial medical assistance until a medical helicopter team could take over his care and stabilisation.
The injured man was subsequently airlifted to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias by the SUC helicopter.
Additionally, local police and officers from the Civil Guard arrived at the scene to conduct the necessary investigations and prepare the report.
