The Santa Úrsula Town Council has lifted the limitations on water usage in various parts of the municipality following a supply interruption on Thursday, 31st October, due to adverse testing results.
The restrictions, which impacted approximately 8,000 residents, advised minimising the use of drinking water for consumption and cooking following the identification of the bacteria known as Clostridium.
Subsequent analyses have yielded positive outcomes, and the water service has been reinstated.
The General Directorate of Public Health of the Canarian Health Service assures that the water supply is safe and poses no threat to the public.
