SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 15th May (EUROPA PRESS) –
On Thursday, the President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, will lead a working session starting at 10:00 a.m. with the 47 mayors of Canarian municipalities with populations of fewer than 10,000 inhabitants or identified as being affected by demographic challenges.
The meeting, to be held at the Government Headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will be attended by key officials including the Vice President and Minister of Economics, Industry, Commerce, and Self-Employment, Manuel Domínguez, the Minister of the Presidency, Public Administrations, Justice, and Security, Nieves Lady Barreto, the Minister of Territorial Policy, Territorial Cohesion, and Water, Manuel Miranda, the Minister of Ecological Transition and Energy, Mariano Hernández Zapata, the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food Sovereignty, Narvay Quintero, the Vice Minister of the Presidency, Alfonso Cabello, the Vice Counselor of the President’s Cabinet, Octavio Caraballo, and the Vice Counselor of Territorial Planning and the Demographic Challenge, Elena Zárate.
Additionally, the President of the Canarian Federation of Municipalities, María Concepción Brito, and the 47 mayors invited to the meeting will also participate in the discussions.
