TITSA, the Tenerife Interurban Transport company, will shut down a number of stations and alter the routes of five bus services in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in light of the protest set to take place this Saturday, which calls for a revamp of the tourism model. Adjustments will also be made to the Tenerife Tram, with operations extending to the Plaza de la Paz station one hour prior to the scheduled demonstration commencement.

According to Titsa, buses will be impacted from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the protest, with lines 902, 904, 905, 912 and 914 affected.

Stops including Weyler parks, Plaza Militar, Capitanía, Parque García Sanabria, Méndez Núñez, El Pilar, Plaza del Príncipe, Villalba Hervás, La Alameda, Plaza de Isabel II, La Marina, July 25, and Buenos Aires will be temporarily suspended. Additionally, Manuel Hermoso Rojas, José Emilio García Gómez, La Salle, and Colegio La Salle stops will not be in service.

Titsa expresses its gratitude in advance for the cooperation of passengers who may be inconvenienced by these changes.

Tenerife Tram has communicated through social media that stations such as Plaza Weyler, Teatro Guimerá, Fundación, and Intercambiador will be non-operational.

Moreover, Tenerife Tram has announced that on Sunday, service will resume at the Guimerá Theater station beginning at 11:30 a.m., pertaining to the organization of an athletic event by the National Police.

In both instances, the full resumption of services along the entire route will be contingent on approval from the Santa Cruz Local Police.
