Two taxi drivers were involved in a physical altercation at one of the stands located in the tourist area of the municipality of Arona, in the south of Tenerife, during Monday night.
The violent episode took place on Rafael Puig Llivina Avenue, at the stand located across from the Verónicas shopping centres. The altercation between the two drivers unfolded in front of several groups of tourists and other public service professionals, who attempted to prevent the mutual aggression from escalating.
At that moment, the taxis were queuing to pick up customers. Some individuals criticise that such behaviours harm the image of the tourist destination.
