Do you already know what to do when the clock strikes the early hours of January 1? Whether you spent the night partying to celebrate the new year or decided to get up early to start 2024 on the right foot, there is something that usually does not fail at breakfast on the first day of the year: churros with chocolate.

These are four churrerías in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to continue with the tradition:

1. The Traditional Churrería

Its specialty is churros and chocolate to take away or eat at the cafeteria located on Valentín Sanz Street, 3. Open from 6:00 a.m., it offers quality products and good service.

2. Churrería La Competencia

Also open from 6:00 a.m., the churros with chocolate fly on José Hernández Alfonso street, 4.

3. Churrería Presidente

On José Manuel Guimerá Street, 32, right in the heart of the Santa Cruz market (La Recova), it is one of the favorite places for chicharreros and chicharreras for a good hot chocolate accompanied by churros. Quality and tradition from 6:00 a.m.

4. Churrería La Monja

The usual churrería on Paralela dos A Nardo Street, 8. “Authentic artisan churros and now also with Mexican food and a wide range of sandwiches, sandwiches, hamburgers, potatoes, breakfasts.”
