The tourist city has everything prepared to live the last night of the year on the stage of Plaza del Charco, which will be the nerve center of the celebration. “We want to be the meeting place so that this end of the year is truly special and unique and where better than to experience it than in our Plaza del Charco”, underlines the councilor for Fiestas, Alberto Castilla.
The celebration will begin at 11:00 p.m. with a performance by the Tejina orchestra, which will stop on its way to connect with the live broadcast of the New Year’s Eve chimes and the traditional grapes from Televisión Canaria, which can be followed on a giant screen installed in the taxi rank located in front of the Plaza. The transport service will be provisionally located on José de Arroyo street. Subsequently, a pyromusical show will take place in the surroundings of the fishing pier in the line of continuing to offer spectacularity and color with the least possible sound impact. Starting at 01:30 a.m., Dj Richard Díaz will take over, who will delight those present with a tour with legendary songs to dance and enjoy this new year 2023.
To close the night, and starting at three in the morning, the Swing Latino Canarias Group will be in charge of continuing with a celebration that also has the best open-air restaurant offer in Tenerife until five in the morning at its terraces and which will serve as a complementary offer to the leisure offered from the city.
“With this celebration, from Puerto de la Cruz we continue to bet on our commercial and restaurant sector to continue attracting people to the city and to live these special dates with family and friends with us”, values the mayor, Marco González.
