Maritime Rescue has moved to the Canary Islands of The iron and Tenerife at least 110 people who were in two cayucos sailing near the islandssources from the public entity have indicated to EFE.
The first of the canoes was detected by means of Integrated Outdoor Surveillance System (SIVE) when I was about 8 miles from the port of La Restingain El Hierro, and its 50 occupants were transferred a year to the port of El Hierro aboard the Salvamar Adhara.
The 50 occupants of this cayuco are men of sub-Saharan origin who are apparently in good health, Maritime Rescue sources indicated.
The second of these canoes has been sighted from the Bahriyeli excursion boat when it was close to the port of Los Cristianos, in Tenerife.
The Salvamar Alpheratz has accompanied this canoe and its around 60 occupants to the port of Los Cristianos.
