SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Municipal Cooperation and Housing area, has put the project to improve the sanitation network in the coastal area of the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla on public display.

In fact, this Tuesday the Governing Council approved the contracting file for the development of the works, the execution of which has been budgeted at around 1.5 million euros, 90% covered by the Cabildo (1,351,712 euros). while the City Council will take care of the remaining 10% (150,190 euros).

The action is included in the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2018 – 2021, includes a note from the Cabildo.

This has been announced by the acting councilor for the area, Zebenzuí Chinea, who stresses that the works will solve the problem of sanitation infrastructure in the municipal coastal zone, “which will result in an increase in the quality of the provision of this service public to the population”.

The insular person in charge indicated that for the development of the works it has been planned to cause the least possible inconvenience to the public, minimizing traffic interruptions and reducing the execution terms in the action units that are most annoying, “to guarantee traffic safety of vehicles and pedestrians and mitigate the inconveniences to the residents of the area”.

For this, he explained that a detailed study of each of the sections that includes the execution of the project will be carried out and offer real solutions to the population.

In addition, he announced that the project has been enriched with an improvement, such as the installation of a pipeline for the remote control of the drives.

The works will consist of the installation of a tube parallel to the impulsions of the future pumping stations of San Juan de la Rambla: Las Monjas, Las Aguas and Pícaro y Puntón.

This improvement does not alter, but will complement and improve the sanitation network, to optimize the provision of this service and that the population can make use of it in modern and quality conditions.
