Olivia Duque (CC) attacks the Cabildo for “the 40% snip” of the 2023 Municipal Cooperation Plan
The candidate for Mayor of Teguise considers it “contradictory and fraudulent” to reduce investment for “proximity work projects” that improve public space
The CC candidate for Teguise City Council in thes municipal elections on May 28 in the Canary Islands , Olivia Dukeconsiders that “It is a mistake” that the municipal cooperation plans for the year 2023 promoted by the Lanzarote Cabildo “have suffered a snip of almost 40 percent.”
With reference to the economic item destined for the Teguiseño City Council, Duque recalls that if in 2022, projects worth 1.4 million euros were tendered, “destined for our asphalting plan, In this 2023 we are talking about an economic injection that plummets to 873,000 euros. We are not advancing, we are going backwards.”
The nationalist candidate for the municipal elections in Teguise insists on remembering that these plans aim to “grant a direct subsidy provided for in the annual budgets with which to collaborate in the execution of work of municipal interest.”
