He Town Hall of the Villa de Teguestethrough the Party Department, organizes the traditional dance of magicians next Saturday, May 6. Interested persons may reserve a table in person today 2, from 08:00, at the Town Hall. The event, which will take place at 10:30 p.m. in San Marcos Square, will feature performances by the El Golpito party, Revelation Orchestra and Grupo Atenia.
The procedure for requesting tables can be done at the main door of the Consistory, respecting the order of arrival and with a maximum reservation of two tables per person. Subsequently, proof of payment of 10 euros will be required, by card or by transfer, in order to confirm the reservation.
Also, to attend the traditional dance of magicians it will be essential to wear the typical costume. At 9:00 p.m., the doors of the venue will be opened and the consequent arrival of the attendees for later, at 10:30 p.m., to start the event.
The festivities in honor of San Marcos had one of its main acts on Sunday, with the pilgrimage that managed to gather some 20,000 people. Neighbors and visitors had a great accumulated desire to enjoy this event that celebrated its 55th edition yesterday and turned the town into the capital of folklore and tradition of the Canary Islands, in a day that seemed more typical of summer and in which the sun and the heat pressed with desire.
A sun and heat that also starred yesterday, in which the traditional Carretero Day was celebrated. A celebration that began with the blessing of the cattle, and in which the exhibition of the carts that participated in the pilgrimage, together with the parrandas and good food, starred the day.
