The National Police have arrested three men of German origin for a crime of drug trafficking by selling narcotic substances such as marijuana and hashish illegally in an establishment in the town of Adeje.
National Police agents specialized in the investigation of drug trafficking crimes were able to verify that the establishment, under an alleged activity as a cannabis association, received a constant influx of people who turned out to be tourists without registering with the association.
During this period, the police detected the sale of narcotic substances to people of foreign origin who, during their vacation stay and lacking the registration card as a member required in this type of premises, entered the association to buy marijuana and hashish leaving a few minutes after.
Once the investigations were advanced, the establishment was immediately entered and searched under the authorization of the competent court, seizing more than 12,000 euros in cash, a pressing machine, more than two and a half kilos of marijuana and close to others. two kilos of hashish, as well as more than two hundred cigarettes also containing a narcotic substance inside.
The two officials who were on the premises and the president of the association were arrested, and they were turned over to the competent judicial authority.
