A 62-year-old man was injured this Friday with serious polytrauma after a collision between a car and a motorcycle in La Orotava.
The events occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing that a car-motorcycle collision had occurred in the TF-21, on the ascent to Mount Teide, in which the occupant of the motorcycle had been injured and needed medical assistance.
The affected person was initially treated by health personnel who were on the scene until the arrival of the SUC resources, which stabilized him and took charge of his transfer to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC) while the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
