The commercial area of Realejo Alto hosts La Noche Mágica with multiple activities

Beer sample, gastronomic zone, magic, fashion catwalk, acrobatic shows, crafts, parades, bouncy castles and workshops for the little ones… The Realejos Today celebrates La Noche Mágica, its version of the so-called white nights, with activities of all kinds for residents and visitors.

The commercial and leisure revitalization activities will take place in the open commercial area of Realejo Alto from 5:00 p.m. and will consist of 40 cultural and sports activities, fashion catwalks, dance exhibitions, displays of volunteer organizations and NGOs, which are complemented by multiple initiatives aimed especially at children.

The Magical Night of Los Realejos was going to be held last weekend but bad weather, preceded by weather warnings, forced the Realejo City Council to postpone the event until today, Saturday, December 10.

The Councilor for Commerce, Natalia Díaz, praised the area’s commercial fabric because “despite last weekend’s postponement, they have once again shown their total predisposition to contribute to the pre-Christmas shopping environment on this special day with special discounts in more than fifty commercial and restaurant establishments in Realejo Alto».

The mayor, Adolfo González, and the Councilor for Commerce thanked the technical staff that make up the Los Realejos Local Development Agency for «turning in recent months to try to integrate, together with the commercial fabric of the area, a programming that stands out for its quantity, its quality and its variety, suitable for all audiences».

Adolfo González also recalled that next Saturday the 17th there will be a new Christmas edition of Birralejo, an attractive event to promote craft beer, gastronomy and music, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaza de San Agustín. Likewise, the Magical Afternoon on Friday, December 30 in San Agustín will once again serve as a prelude to the celebration of Children’s New Year’s Eve in the square of this nucleus.

The City Council of Los Realejos, through its departments of Transport and Commerce, also once again carries out its free mobility initiative by shared taxi during the dates of the Christmas commercial campaign under the name of Camel taxi. From the afternoon of Friday, December 23 and until Thursday, January 5, those who wish may use free taxis to travel between the five commercial areas of the town.

In addition to the appointments already indicated, the revitalization will be diversified in the different open commercial areas of the municipality on a rotating basis with complementary activities scheduled on Monday, December 26 in the areas of Realejo Alto and La Montaña-La Zamora, on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday December 28 and Monday, January 2 and Tuesday, January 3 in Toscal Longuera and San Agustín, and on Wednesday, January 4 in the areas of Icod el Alto and La Montaña–La Zamora. The dynamization in the streets will also be led by live musical ambience.
