CC-PNC insists on “the withdrawal of the draft of the Master Plan for Use and Management (PRUG) of the Teide National Park to agree on the activities”. The nationalists present this week, between Thursday and Friday, four motions to the plenary commissions of the Cabildo to transfer the requests of the citizens and the affected groups.
CC claims to have held more than twenty meetings and meetings with different groups and all of them, says spokesman Carlos Alonso, “agree on the need to regulate activities, but not to prohibit them, as stated in the PRUG draft.”
The CC-PNC group recalls that it is waiting to receive the reports from the Mobility area to know exactly the number of visits that Teide receives each year, since there are contradictory data. Up to two million visits less than those included in the draft that indicates that there are more than four million.
