The Civil Guard carried out a search yesterday morning in the family home of Adrián, the 21-year-old accused of ending the life, allegedly, of Dácil, a neighbor of Guaza who lived on San Silvestre street, at dawn on Tuesday . Several agents of the Armed Institute took various objects from the suspect, including several articles of clothing for analysis, according to this newspaper.
José Corsino García, a lawyer appointed by the family of the alleged aggressor, told this newspaper that until mid-afternoon yesterday the sharp object that the agents were looking for had not been found, presumably a screwdriver. “It is not known if it exists or does not exist because it does not appear anywhere,” remarked Corsino, who recalled that the distance between his client’s home and the victim’s is barely separated by a street.
According to his version, the father of the alleged assailant told him that he followed his son and that the 62-year-old victim died in his arms. “When they realized that he had escaped they followed, but there was no time, it was a matter of minutes,” he said. He also commented that he did not notice that the deceased was bleeding, but he did observe foam in her mouth. He immediately notified the Civil Guard.
Psychiatric history
Adrián, who has a psychiatric history and has attempted suicide, according to Corsino, will give a statement today before Investigative Court Number 2 (although Court Number 1 was on duty when the events occurred). His parents and his only brother will also testify as witnesses.
The event, which in the following hours brought moments of great tension between members of both families, has caused great consternation in the Guaza area of Arón, next to the TF-1 highway. “Here we do not talk about anything else,” confirmed yesterday a neighbor of the area.
