The San Andrés bridge recovers its operability for all vehicles



The City Council of Santa Cruz will proceed this afternoon to reopening the traffic of all types of vehicles of the renovated San Andrés bridge, which will recover its operability to road traffic, so that the tourist buses, vats and other heavy vehicles that until now they couldn’t do it over the military bridge.

The bridge is thus recovered for this type of road traffic, and it will be from Friday when the railing will be installed and the pedestrian will be allowed to pass over it, the City Council said in a statement this Wednesday.

This opening makes it possible to recover the mobility of the connections with the Anaga massif.

The comprehensive reform of this road infrastructure began its rehabilitation since last summer, by emergency route, and has involved an investment of 500,000 euros.
