The defense attorney for Ignacio Castillo, the former head of Administration and Accounting of the public company of Fairgrounds, states in its initial conclusions that the defendant did not appropriate the 145,000 euros throughout almost eleven years of work in this entity.
The defense attorney stated at the beginning of the trial with the Jury Court that Castillo did not steal said amount of money from the accounts of the public company. What’s more, the Defense that explains that, compared to what the Prosecutor’s Office and the Popular Accusation propose, the investigated did have people who controlled his work activity.
The trial with a Jury Court takes place this morning in Section VI of the Provincial Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The complainant, Ignacio Pintado Mascareño, has already died, so the statement he made at the time will be incorporated into the hearing.
