SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canarian PSOE considers that the negotiation of the amendments to the General State Budgets (PGE) for 2023 “are one more proof of the indisputable commitment of the socialists with this land”, present throughout the entire Legislature.
“The socialist governments are a guarantee of commitment and certainty for the Canary Islands,” underlines the secretary of the Regional Organization Nira Fierro, who claims the value of dialogue and the word as the work formula that generates the most benefits for the Canary Islands — the last the agreement with CC so that buses and streetcars are free next year–.
As a result of this, he continues in a note, “it is today possible that some budgets that were already the best in the bill phase will be even more so with the incorporation of the amendments, the definitive proof that the general interest has always been for above the partisan interest for the socialists”.
In his opinion, the Canary Islands are defending themselves firmly but also with a capacity for understanding and collaboration.
“Here is a government that is sensitive to the Canary Islands, to their demands and to their progress, which listens and commits itself over and over again. Fortunately, the time for shouting and complexes is past and we are glad that it has also been understood in this way by other formations. politics,” he says.
Along these lines, he insists that “what citizens want is results and the governments of the Socialist Party, without a doubt, have been able to understand this message and live up to it.”
In his opinion, “there are the objective data to prove it, today there are more people working both in the Canary Islands and in Spain and unemployment has fallen like never before in the last 15 years, advances are also present in Health, Education and Social Rights, it is enough to compare them with 2019 when we arrived, and that is the result, above all, of the management and commitment of socialist governments”.
