Clouds and clearings will alternate in the Canary Islands this Wednesday, when light winds are expected with some moderate local gust and temperatures with little change, according to the State Meteorological Agency.

The maximum will reach 28 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 27 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the minimum will be 23 degrees in both capitals, according to their forecast, which announces north wind, generally light and even with breezes, although with a tendency to moderate in some areas, especially in Gran Canaria.

In the waters of the archipelago, winds from the north or northeast and forces between 2 and 4 are expected, a storm surge with possible local intervals of swell and northwest swell of 1 to 2 meters.

The weather forecast for Wednesday, by islands, is as follows:

LANZAROTE

Cloudy intervals, alternating with wide clearings. Temperatures with little change. Loose north component wind, with breezes. Increasing to light to moderate in the afternoon.

FUERTEVENTURA

Cloudy intervals, alternating with wide clearings. Temperatures with little change. Loose north component wind, with breezes. Increasing to light to moderate in the afternoon.

GRAN CANARIA

In the north, cloudy intervals, opening wide clearings in the afternoon in the interior. In the south, slightly cloudy to clear, tending to cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes, except for a probable rise in the maximums in the southeast. Loose to moderate north wind, more intense on east and west slopes and a predominance of breezes on north and south coasts.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 23 27

TENERIFE

Little cloudy to clear, increasing to cloudy from the morning, except in the central peaks that will remain clear. Temperatures with few changes, except for a probable decrease in the minimum in high areas and a rise in the maximum in the southern slope of the metropolitan area. Loose north component wind with breezes, somewhat more intense in the afternoon in the northeast and northwest points. In central peaks, moderate northwest wind.

LA GOMERA

Cloudy intervals alternating with wide clearings. Temperatures with little change. Loose to moderate north wind, more intense in the east and northwest points and prevalence of breezes in the north and southwest coasts.

THE PALM

Little cloudy to clear, increasing to cloudy from morning, except in the summits that will remain clear. Temperatures with little change. Loose to moderate north wind, predominantly breezes on the north and west coasts.

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM EXPECTED TEMPERATURES (° C):

Santa Cruz de La Palma 22 28

THE IRON

Cloudy intervals. Temperatures with little change. Wind with a loose north component with a predominance of breezes, tending to a weak to moderate northeast in the afternoon.
