Next Sunday, October 1, the Day of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spainin which the 111 municipalities included in the network will take the opportunity to highlight the richness and value of their historical traditions.

The Asociation The Most Beautiful Towns in Spaincoinciding with the celebration of the 13th anniversary of its creation, launched the Day of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spainan event that was a great media success and participation, since its first edition, and where the fight for the conservation of the artistic and cultural heritage of these localities is claimedwhich represent the authenticity and wealth of Spain.

The Day of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain has been consolidated as one of the most important days of the year for the rural world, where the small towns of our country can claim and make themselves heard to solve and improve the important problems that many of them have. Prevent public services from being dismantled, develop active policies to attract talent, promote cultural tourism, much less seasonal than other types of tourism, value our agriculture and livestock and encourage the training of new professionals and generational change.

On October 1 at 12 noon, the 111 mayors will raise the association’s flag and read a manifesto in defense of authenticity through Spanish rural heritage that will serve to vindicate the beauty of each and every one of them. the towns and the work of a network that serves as the backbone of these municipalities, where they want to have opportunities similar to large cities in education, housing, health, telecommunications and transportation, since these factors would make the rural environment a much more habitable and necessary.

The 111 towns that belong to the Association are:
