“The government must be changed so that Arona shines again”

The Popular Party candidate for Mayor of Arona, Fátima Lemes, lamented “the neglect and neglect” in which the municipality has been mired in recent years, while ensuring that “it is unquestionable that the local government needs to be changed for Arona to shine again.”

For the candidate, “José Julián Mena’s time is coming to an end, since his promises of change have fallen on deaf ears and his lack of management, together with the multiple crises in the municipal government, show that the PSOE It has not been able to respond to the needs of Arona and its neighbors ».

In this sense, Lemes assures in a press release that, faced with the current paralysis, “where the neighboring municipalities overtake us on the left and on the right, It is time to face the great challenges of the municipalitywhich go through urban unblocking, as well as offering legal security to people, companies and investors so that they see Arona as an opportunity to employmentbusiness and future».
