SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, will hire 14 graduates in Economics, Business or Business Administration and Management for the ‘Emprende Local’ program, aimed at promoting and developing economic activity by supporting job creation, setting up small businesses and diversifying activities in the municipalities.

“With this project we give continuity to an important advisory work that the Cabildo has carried out since 2013”, said the minister Carmen Luz Baso, who highlights that “the ‘Emprende Local’ project will contemplate the attention to entrepreneurs and their needs, it will provide training and advice, as well as project tutoring and informative talks and workshops. “

This project will have a total cost of 463,419 euros, of which 53.8% will be charged to a grant from the Canarian Employment Service through its programs for the Promotion of Development and Economic Activity (PRODAE), a percentage that will amount to 246,000 euros.

These 14 people will agree to a 10-month employment contract that will run from March 1, 2002 to December 31 of the same year.
