Yesterday, the Municipal Government Board approved a credit supplement worth 7,151,077.50 euros in order to advance in the 2022 financial year the settlement of the total cost derived from the acquisition of 19 hybrid suburban buses agreed with Titsa.
The reason for advancing this payment, which was scheduled to be made next year, is due to the fact that it would mean savings for the municipal coffers, since, in this way, Titsa would not incur certain financial expenses, derived from the rise in interest rates, “which with total security would affect the Municipal Corporation, justifying the impossibility of delay in time until the year 2023, given the current economic forecasts”, as stated in the point approved by the Governing Board.
