Two Men Injured in Multiple Vehicle Collision in Tenerife
Incident Overview
Two men sustained moderate injuries on Monday evening following a multiple vehicle collision on the TF-1 heading south, near the entrance to Punta Larga in the municipality of Candelaria, Tenerife.
The Canary Islands’ Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) reported that the alert was received at 10:55 PM, notifying them of the traffic accident involving several vehicles.
Emergency Response
Emergency services, including the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Tenerife Fire Brigade, Civil Guard, and the Tenerife Road Service, were dispatched to the scene.
Medical personnel attended to a 35-year-old man who suffered a moderate abdominal injury. He was transported in a SUC medicalised ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
Additionally, a 27-year-old man was injured, having sustained a moderate back injury. He was evacuated by a basic life support ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Investigation
The Civil Guard is conducting the necessary investigations into the incident.
